When you are organizing the panels of your comic, you should keep in mind the way you want eyes to follow it. With multiple panels on a page, your spacing between them will determine where the eyes will go. If you want the reader to read up and down and from left to right, then you should create columns, by leaving more space in the middle. If you want the reader to read rows, then you should have more space between rows than elsewhere. Bubble placement also gives a clue about when a panel should be read. The higher bubble is read first. If you allow one bubble to lead to another panel, then the eye will go to the next panel.
