Henry shows us a simple and fun method for drawing boy and girl cartoon heads. Start by writing the words "boy" and "girl" and use the shapes of the letters to create the faces.

For the boy's head:

1) Write the word "boy" in large letters, but don't write in capitals.

2) Connect the tail and of the "y" to the bottom corner of the "b" to create the bottom of the face.

3) Connect the "b" and the "o" with a small line to make glasses, and add dots for eyes.

4) Connect the top of the "b" to the top of the "y" to close the face.

5) Add hair, a nose and a mouth.

6) The cartoon face is complete.

For the girl's head:

1) Write the word "girl" in large letters, but don't write in capitals.

2) Stretch the letter "l" down and away from the word, and add an extra semi-circle at the top so that it becomes a mirror image of the "g". This gives you the side of the head and the ears.

3) Draw a semi-circle from the top of the "g" to the top of the "l" to create the top of the head.

4) Draw a small quarter circle on the "i" so that it mirrors the "r" next to it. These are the eyebrows and the sides of the nose, so add a couple of dots for eyes underneath this, and connect the tails of the "i" and the "r" to complete the nose.

5)Add hair and a line for the mouth.

6) The cartoon face is complete.
